Focus will include how herbal constituents and physiology interact differently during the spring transition phase.
We will explore how spring expansion influences phytochemical expression, constituent translocation within the plant, and how these changes are met and adapted by the body. The emphasis is on understanding what shifts — biochemically and physiologically — as animals engage with spring herbs.
We will explore the influence of the energising effect of spring including cellular and membrane health, hormesis, detoxification, activation of immune function and renewal/ repair for all tissues, nerves and vessels.
Attention will be given to route of interaction (topical, oral, aromatic, proximity), examining how different pathways alter absorption, tissue affinity, signalling, and systemic response.Â
